DALLAS â"Â A Dallas man wanted for violating his parole after a narcotics charge has been added to the stateâs most wanted list.Â
Rickey Lynn Johnson, 31, has racked up arrests for displaying a weapon in a school zone and possessing marijuana. He was arrested in 2003 for selling cocaine to an undercover police officer.
In 2005, police arrested him for having cocaine. He landed a four-year sentence in 2008, but was paroled in 2009.Â
On April 23, 2010, the state issued a warrant for his arrest after he violated parole. Johnson is a known member of the Crips gang and stands 5 feet 8 inches tall. He weighs 211 pounds and has âDIXONâ tattooed on his abdomen, â100%â and âTIFFANYâ on the back of his left hand, âGRINDINâ on the back of his right hand and âCRIPâ on his inside-right forearm.Â
He has family members in the Dallas area and has worked as a barber in the past.
The stateâs issued a $7,500 cash award for information that leads authorities to his location and subsequent arrest. Below are a few of the ways tipsters can anonymously help investigators:

- Text the letters DPSâ"followed by your tipâ"to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
